Charles Tours Serengeti/Ngorongoro Safari My partner and I chose Charles Tours through a personal connection from my previous travels in East Africa. Charles took into consideration our budget, accommodation preferences, dietary specifications, dates and everything else while customizing our experience. We went on a 4 day, 3 night tour and chose to camp.Our driver was Peter and the chef with us was named Omari. Both of them were excellent! Peter had such an eye for the wildlife in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. We spotted leopards, cheetahs, huge prides of lions, giraffes, elephants and much, much more. Peter was also very knowledgable about the landscape and birds, so we had tons of extra context/information. I can be a nervous traveler, but Peter was very friendly and took extra safety precautions. Omari was an incredible chef. All of our meals were very well made and delicious! He took the extra care to include variety, which was very much appreciated. Overall I would give Charles and his team 5 stars. We'll definitely be making our way back in no time!

Being Kenyan and having visited most reserves and parks in Kenya, it was a real experience sampling the rich landscapes and scenery that Tanzania has to offer. Charles is very detailed and personally ensured we had the best experience. It wasn't just a question of taking us from point 1 to point 2 but hearing the rich explanations during the trip.

Off the beaten tracks. Mkomazi and Lushoto With Charles we have just finished this magnificent safari off the beaten track, everything was perfectly organized for us. In Mkomazi, we had the chance to see a Rhino 3 meters away, We discovered magnificent landscapes accompanied by his rich and detailed comments. His knowledge of flora and fauna and more particularly birds, delighted us. Hoping to be able to renew off the beaten track.
